Utility Usage Estimator (UUE)

What is UUE and who can use it?

If you live in the UK and do not have a smart metre installed yet then UUE could be an app  for you. It is designed to help you calculate the cost of energy(electric and/or gas) used from the last metre reading to the current reading. It keeps a history of metre readings and additionally it can give a forecast of what your next bill will be based on your average and current consumption habits.

Ideally UUE is designed for a standard tariff utility customer (see definitions of standard tariff and other tariff within the context of UUE), however customers on other tariff can still use UUE and benefit from it. See other tariff user to find out how.

If you are standard tariff utility customer and you enter the parameters UUE expects correctly, UUE will estimate the cost of your utility consumption to a high degree of accuracy. It is very important to note that value calculated by this app does not replace the bill estimated by your utility supplier, please read the disclaimer. What UUE does is to give you a tool at your finger tips that you can use to monitor and quickly calculate/estimate the cost of your bill and also forecast the next bill in advance with the aim of helping you make cost saving decisions on your current usage habit. It is very important to note that although UUE can be used to calculate your monthly bill UUE is designed to give you the exact cost from the date of the last meter reading to the current reading. Please see the difference between UUE and your monthly bill.
